Army men out of MHL...

THE Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) will be a handicapped tournament as only six teams registered for the Premier Division, while five for the Division One when entries closed on Wednesday.
The tournament, slated for March 22-May 12, will see double champions Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club, Tenaga Nasional, Sapura, Maybank, UniKL and Nur Insafi playing in the Premier Division.
In Division One are UiTM, Bukit Jalil Sports School, Thunderbolts and UniTen.
“Terengganu have requested to play in the Premier Division, but that will be decided by the competitions committee. When entries closed, there were only six teams in Premier Division and four in Division One albeit Terengganu who might play in either division,” said Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC) secretary Johari Aziz.
Missing from last years Division One list are champions Armed Forces, who claimed all their players would be attending courses, Johor HA and Politeknik-KPT..
