In Group B of the Junior Asia Cup in Malacca, Malaysia, World Cup hosts India struggled to beat China 2-1 after giving their all in the Pakistan match the previous day.

China were on level terms in the 47th minute as Yu Xin dived at full stretch to steer the ball past Indian custodian Tirkey Sushant.
But any chances of an upset were dismissed in the 57th minute when Amit Rohidass converted a penalty corner.
And after India edged China, Pakistan had a 12 goal target to chase in order to avoid meeting Malaysia  -- and they scored 14 just to make sure.
