TERENGGANU Under-18 boys and girls powered into the quarter-finals of the Malaysian Schools Sports Council (MSSM) at the Bukit Serendit Stadium in Malacca yesterday.
The boys beat Perlis 3-2 for maximum six points to top Group A while the girls beat Kedah 5-0.Defending champions in both Under-18 boys and girls, Perak, also made the quarter-finals.
RESULTS: Boys' Under-18 -- Group A: Perlis 2 Terengganu 3; Group B: Johor 0 Sabah 2, Putrajaya 0 Kuala Lumpur 11; Group C: Pahang 3 Kedah 3, Penang 2 Selangor 3; Group D: Negri 4 Kelantan 3, Sarawak 0 Malacca 12.
Under-12 -- Group A: Perlis 0 Kuala Lumpur 5; Group B: Terengganu 2 Negri Sembilan 0; Group C: Sarawak 0 Sabah 2, Johor 0 Kelantan 5; Group D: Pahang 1 Kedah 1, Selangor 0 Perak 1.
Girls' Under-18 -- Group A: Kedah 0 Terengganu 5; Group B: Kelantan 1 Sarawak 1; Group C: Kuala Lumpur 1 Selangor 4, Johor 3 Perlis 0; Group D: Negri 2 Sabah 1, Pahang 2 Penang 2.
