LEAGUE champions Terengganu Hockey Team (THT) blasted Maybank into orbit in the second leg of the TNB CUP semi-finals to set up a final date with Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club (KLHC) on Sunday.
KLHC, who drew 1-1 with Tenaga in the first leg, were held to a 2-2 draw by the Utility Giants yesterday. The match went into penalties and KLHC won 3-1.
RESULTS -- Semi-finals Second Leg:
Terengganu Hockey Team 8 Maybank 1.
(THT win on 10-4 aggregate)
Kuala Lumpur Hockey Club 2 Tenaga 2.
(KLHC and Tenaga tied on 3-3 aggregate; KLHC win 3-1 on penalties).
