KUALA Lumpur were crowned as the new Under-18 Malaysian Schools Sports Council (MSSM) champions when they beat Terengganu 4-1 at the Bukit Serindit Stadium in Malacca yesterday.
And in the Girls Under-18, Selangor snatched the crown from defending champions Perak on an extra-time goal after the match was tied at 1-1 during regulation time.
And in the Under-12 girls tournament, the surprise package were Sabah who edged Perak 3-2 for the title.
RESULTS (Finals): Boys’ Under-18: Kuala Lumpur 4 Terengganu 1; Under-12: Kelantan 0 Perak 2.
Girls’ Under-18: Selangor 2 Perak 1 (extra-time, golden goal); Under-12: Sabah 3 Perak 2.
