TENGKU Mahkota Ismail Sports School and UniKL Young Guns hardly broke sweat in the Milo Cup semi-finals second leg to cement their spots in the final on Sunday.
After taking huge leads in the first leg, UniKL beat Tengku Mahkota Ismail Sports School Juniors 3-0 yesterday for a 9-0 aggregate win, while Tengku Mahkota Ismail Sports School beat Anderson 2-1 for a 10-1 aggregate win.
Both the teams will be meeting in their fourth consecutive Milo Cup final, with SSTMI winning the last two, while UniKL won the 2010 battle.
Yesterday at the Taman Daya Stadium in Johor Baru, UniKL Young Guns opened scoring in the ninth minute with Hafifi Elkan converting a penalty corner before two goals from Syafiq Zulzairin in the 14th and 69th minutes sealed the deal.
And at the Azlan Shah Stadium in Ipoh, SSTMI scored via Hafiz Selemen in the sixth minute before Shahril Saabah doubled the advantage five minutes later.
And even though N. Kartigan reduced the deficit for Anderson in the 43rd minute, it was already a lost cause for the home side.
