Malaysian women fall at last hurdle..

JAPAN beat Malaysia 4-0 yesterday in New Delhi to qualify for the Semi-finals Round of the World Hockey League.
   The Malaysian women, ranked 22nd in the world, never stood a chance against the ninth ranked Japanese who opened scoring in the 31st minute, and then slammed in three more goals in the second half.
    Malaysia played well in the tournament to beat Russia and Kazakhstan by 3-1 margins, ans slammed Fiji 12-0; but lost to India 3-0.
