India outshine Australia 2-0..

India defeated Australia 2-0 in their opening match of the Sultan of Johor Cup at the Taman Daya Hockey Stadium.

  And it was a remarkable and disciplined display that got them all three points after a 0-0 first half.

 India took the lead in the 49^th minute through Sukhmanjit Singh via a cleveryly worked penalty corner.

 And a goal in the final minute by Tirkey Amon Misrah sealed the win for India.
