Gold for men and women

MALAYSIA picked up the men’s and women’s titles in the Sea Cup hockey tournament in Bangkok on Sunday.
The Project 2013 squad defeated Singapore 3-2 to win the gold medal in the men’s section.
Muhd Sabri Mohamed Ashari turned hero when he scored a brace while Muhd Firhan Ashari added the third for the Project 2013 team.
In the women’s section, Malaysia defeated Thailand ‘A’ 2- 1, through Siti Amarina’s brace in the 42nd and 62nd minutes.
